A poll by a Washington D.C. research company shows Clayton Trotter will win the November election with 52% of the vote when voters learn that he is pro-life, against Cap & Trade and would put “security” back in Social Security and Medicare. Only 45% of the voters support Charlie Gonzalez now, and after learning what Clayton stands for, Clayton would win with 52.48% of the vote.
Other results from the poll include:
A strong majority (63.8%) think the Country is headed in the wrong direction! This includes people we originally thought might be uninformed. We are all feeling the effects of the poor economy and the current leadership in Washington DC.
A very strong majority (86.6%) are against paying for a carbon tax (Cap & Trade)!
Most voters in the district (65.7%) are pro-life!
70.7% of District 20 voters are against Congress cutting Medicare and bankrupting Social Security and would vote for Clayton since he has a solution to save and fully fund both. Clayton's solution, already endorsed by the 2008 Texas Republican Platform Committee, is a detailed plan developed by his Campaign Treasurer, Davis Jackson. The Jackson Plan will secure Social Security, Medicare and reduce the national debt by $500 to $600-billion per-year.
After learning that Congress's votes (including Gonzalez's votes) are pro-abortion, pro-Cap & Trade, pro-cuting Medicare, and will hurt every family's pocketbook immediately and put our children and grandchildren ever more deeply in debt; voters would elect Clayton Trotter in November!!!
